RELEASE: ITHACA, NY– BRSN has named junior volleyball player Samanta Arenas as this week’s Athlete of the Week. On Friday, Arenas led the Big Red to a 3-1 win over Dartmouth, hitting a team high .375 with 15 kills, 1 ace, and 3 blocks. On Saturday, the junior from Florida put up 14 kills and 12 digs for a double-double en route to a 3-1 win over Harvard to complete the weekend sweep. Cornell returns to Newman Arena on Friday, Nov. 2 to host Penn for the Big Red senior night.
