Men’s hockey: Their winless streak continues. They lost to Clarkson and St. Lawrence 2-1 in overtime. They haven’t recorded a point since January 16th, and they slip to 7th in the ECAC standings. Ouch.
Women’s hockey: Women’s at least picks up a two-point weekend, beating Union 3-1 and then losing to RPI 2-1. They’re currently in 9th place in the ECAC, just two points out of playoff contention.
Men’s basketball: It was an amazing weekend for the men’s team. They beat rival Harvard 77-65, and then they beat Dartmouth 77-73. They move to an even 2-2 in Ivy play.
Women’s basketball: They lost their first Ivy game to Harvard, 65-56 in overtime, but they beat Dartmouth 71-58 to finish off the weekend. They’re currently 3-1 in Ivy play.
Men’s tennis: #47 Men’s lost to #64 Iowa, 4-2. Stefan Vinti and David Volfson won their singles matches.
Women’s tennis: Women’s drops their match against Syracuse, 6-1, although Lizzie Stewart improved to 3-0 in Singles.
Gymnastics: The squad may have fallen to Bridgeport, 194.175 to 192.225, but they have had three straight meets of 192 or better–a school record–and they set a team record for beam.
Men’s squash: They’re currently ranked 12th in the nation, but they fell to #9 Drexel and #13 George Washington, 6-3 and 5-4 respectively.
Men’s swimming: Men’s defeated Brown 177-123 in their final meet, and they go to 2-5 on the Ivy season.
Women’s swimming: In a dual meet, Cornell falls to Brown 156-143 to end their season; they close at 1-6 in Ivy play.
