BRSN Announces Athlete of the Week: Cornell Gymnast Kaitlin Green

The BRSN team selects one Cornell athlete each week whose performance stood out among their peers both within the Cornell athletic community and the Ivy League.

RELEASE: ITHACA, NY — Freshman gymnast Kaitlin Green has been named the BRSN Athlete of the Week. She continued her terrific rookie campaign on Sunday to help the Big Red women’s gymnastics team capture its first Ivy Classic title in six years in front of a home crowd at Newman Arena. Green topped the podium in two events, winning bars with a score of 9.850 and also taking first place in beam with a 9.875 in front of fellow Cornell gymnast and classmate, Malia Mackey, who finished second.
