The BRSN team selects one Cornell athlete each week whose performance stood out among their peers both within the Cornell athletic community and the Ivy League.
RELEASE: ITHACA, NY — BRSN has named gymnast Lyanda Dudley as this week’s Athlete of the Week. The sophomore’s outstanding season qualified her for the Morgantown Regional next Saturday in West Virginia. Dudley will compete in the all-around competition. She is the school record-holder in the all-around at 39.225 and ranks eighth in the region with a 38.970 regional qualifying score. The ECAC Gymnast of the Year posted five of the six all-around scores of 39.000 or better in Big Red history. She was also a two-time USAG Collegiate All-American as a freshman in 2016.
