RELEASE: ITHACA, NY — BRSN has named junior hockey defenseman Alec McCrea as this week’s Athlete of the Week. Saturday night, McCrea scored the game-winning goal with 2.3 seconds left against No. 5 Harvard at a packed Lynah Rink. The win capped off an ECAC home-weekend sweep with a 3-0 win against Dartmouth on Friday. The Big Red remain the only defeated team left in men’s Division I hockey with a record of 6-0-0.
