RELEASE: ITHACA, NY—BRSN had named sophomore women’s soccer goaltender Chrissy Mayer as this week’s Athlete of the Week. Mayer, in her first collegiate start, pitched a 13 save shutout to help the Big Red earn a scoreless draw in their first-ever meeting with Fairleigh Dickinson. Mayer’s performance recorded the most saves for a Cornell women’s soccer goalie since 2008.
