The BRSN team selects one Cornell athlete each week whose performance stood out among their peers both within the Cornell athletic community and the Ivy League.
RELEASE: ITHACA, NY — BRSN has named women’s basketball’s Samantha Widmann as this week’s Athlete of the Week. The freshman guard helped Cornell to a 57-52 win over Harvard on Saturday, leading the team with 12 rebounds and 15 points. This was the first time Cornell has beat Harvard in 18 games.
