RELEASE: ITHACA, NY — Cornell sophomore wrestler Brandon Womack has been named the BRSN Athlete of the Week. At 165 pounds, he pinned Hoftra’s Bobby Fehr and Rutgers’ Willie Scott, all within five minutes, at Madison Square Garden over the weekend. Womack’s victory over Scott gave Cornell a 12-10 lead and was the first of five consecutive wins to conclude the dual. This 18-point margin was the program’s biggest over a ranked opponent since defeating then No. 16 Virginia Tech, 34-0, over two years ago.
